But this can be rectified simply. The best way to get better at managing money is by keeping track of ingoings and outgoings. This need not be grand - you can use an Excel spreadsheet if you want, but working out on paper is just as good. Each month, make a note of your expenses and also what comes in. Not only will this let you get a good grip on your finances, by learning the times of the month where you have more or less money you can plan and budget accordingly, and relieve any tension that might ordinarily build up at certain times of the year.
