| Computing : Software When you open a CSV in Excel, there will be a wizard that appears to help you open the file. Make sure that you follow the options carefully or else a problem might occur. One of the key things that you need to decide is on what's known as the delimiter - that is the piece of code that determines where one cell ends and the next starts. Often this is set to a tab as default in excel but when opening a CSV you need to make sure that you change this over to a comma else the document won't open correctly!
