How To Position A Greenhouse

Gardening : Growing Plants

If you are adding a greenhouse to your garden, then congratulations - you can now grow a larger variety of plants, help plants germinate, and look after some of your more precious and / or delicate plants over the cold winter and protect plants from the frosts!

What you need to do is ensure the greenhouse gets the best and most of the light that is available to it.

Therefore you should align it with the east-west position.

That means the sun will shine onto the longest surface area of the greenhouse, and not onto the two ends, and remember it should also be sheltered from any strong winds.
