How To Save Money With Credit Cards

Money : Money Management

It's not often that you read about saving money with credit cards, however as long as you pay off debts in full each month, they are a very efficient and convenient way of managing money.

Here's why:

When you pay by debit card or cheque, the money will leave your account almost straight away, therefore there is no chance to accrue interest on that money.

However with a credit card you effectively get leant money interest free for about 30 days or your billing period - therefore the money stays in your account much longer getting you some more interest until you need to part with it.

The key is to ensure that you always pay your bill in full else of course you will lose more money than you can save.
