Here is a guide in the styles you can get! Victory Rolls Era: 1940’s Difficulty: Moderate Inspired By: Diana Dors You will need: Hairspray, Kirby Grips, Wax, A Round Brush, Heat Protecting Spray, Straighteners. Apply heat protecting spray to your hair. Use a comb to create a side parting. Section of a part of your hair about 1-2inches wide. Using straighteners clamp down on the hair midway down and twist the straighteners backwards as you move down the section of hair. Do this for all sections of your hair. Spray with hairspray. Take a section from the front of your hairline that ends behind your ear. Brush through the section to smooth down the hair Take the hairspray and spray the back of your hair, use a comb to tease the back of the section. Hold out two fingers and wrap the end of the section around it to create a loop once it is wrapped around release the fingers and pinch the side of the loop to make sure it stays put. Continue pinching this loop and start rolling it down the scalp. Once it has reached the scalp hold it in place with a Kirby grip, until it is secure. Take your thumbs and insert them inside the roll on either end and begin to tug in opposite directions to alter the width. Repeat the process for the other side of your head. Marilyn Curls Era: 1950’s Difficulty: Moderate Inspired By: Marilyn Monroe You will need: Hairspray, Curling Irons, Wax Pin your fringe back (if you have one) Tease each section of hair before curling. Curl the front section of hair first. Then continue curling sections of hair closest to the top of the head. When you have finished the top layer of hair, continue through to the bottom layers of hair. Unpin your fringe. And gently curl these, and brush out all of your hair gently when done. Finish with hairspray
