Gum in crevices can be hard to remove.
If possible, crush up some ice very small and apply directly through a plastic bag onto the gum to freeze it and make it cold.
Then use a pair of tweezers to reach into the crevices and lift out.
Good luck - removing gum like that can be a bit like a surgical operation!
