How to clean collectibles

My husband has a collection of hockey and baseball cards. A few of them have ink marks on them and he would like to know if there is a way to remove these marks.

Thank you.

To remove ink marks the best method would be to try using a little hairspray.

For really old stains leave on for a minute then rub off.

If this does not work it may be the ink has been there so long that it has physically meshed with the card in which case there is little that you can do short of using some sort of bleaching agent that may affect the card itself too!
