How to clean curry stains

how do you remove a curry stain from a wooden dining table safely without damaging the table?

Question From: carla - Apr 19th 2005

Replies:

Curry stains can leave powerful dyes and therefore affect colour.

Hence you need to use some sort of oxidising agent or bleach in order to remove stains of this sort.

Consider using a weak hydrogen peroxide solution with warm water on the stain, leave for a while, then rub and blot away.

Then rinse with fresh water.

This should take out the curry stain and the dyes that it left and return to former glory the fabric or carpet that the curry stain was on!
