Foggly glassware can be annoying, and it often happens to crystal glassware.
To clean foggy glassware properly, here's what to do:
- wash by hand first off, and use a low temperature
- Use a little white vinegar as this helps stop fogging occurring and remove existing fogging or spotting that may occur
- ensure that limescale build up is removed
- also try lemon juice the acid should cut through the build up that causes fogging
Finally you could try a little distilled alcohol to remove fogging
Bottom line: lemon juice, vinegar or alcohol can be used to remove fogging from glassware
