Palm Trees Going Brown

I have two beautiful I think they are called chrysalidocarpus-areca? palms.

They have grown to over a metre in seven months. But now one of them started to go brown leaved on the bottom part of the plant. i cut them off but I am scared it will spread what ever it is. I feed them regularly

and water them, Any suggestion what would be the matter with them? PLEASE!!!!
