Keep aquarium water fresh
can you tell me how to stop aquarium water going brown, i clean my fish and the water turns brown after a week?

If you have a light in the tank, dont use it as often. 2 hours a day is best. the fish ill apreciate the natural light in the day, and the room light at nightimes..

From pet shops you can buy blocks to put in the tank to stop it from getting dirty as quickly, I don't know if it works though, I think it does, it is however quite expensive. Just ask at your local pet shop and I'm sure they'll find something. You should change three quarters of the water in the tank every month with one of those vacuum tube thingies (I don't think that's the technical name!).
