How to remove a smokey smell

A pot boiled dry and the smell of smoke is still in kitchen one week later coming from cooker fan. Please help

Replies:

The smell of smoke can be tricky to get out as it may cling to objects in the house unseen.

Therefore the first step is to scrub from top to bottom and ensure that the smoke odour is shifted.

Once that is done things should immediately seem better.

Than use standard air freshener or lemon scent spray to improve the smell. Also ensure there is a good circulation of air through the house to remove any lingering smells.
