How to keep slugs out of my kitchen?

It is nigh on impossible to stop getting slugs in the garden.
You can make it harder by ensuring there is no long grass or large shrubs where they love to shelter during the day.
Also try putting a run of copper wire around plants that you want to protect as apparently this can stop them from crossing.
