Best Comedy TV Ever

OK so basically there are two choices here...

Number one: Friends: accessible to people of all ages, consistently funny, strong plots in each episode and several guaranteed laugh out loud moments each episode. Great chemistry between the cast.

Number two: Frasier: a bit more cerebral and grown-up humour in places, some subtle and clever jokes, excellent interplay between the characters and again several moments that make you laugh in each episode as you get embroiled in the latest of Frasier's agony or a strong plot line for a supporting cast member.

So what is your favourite comedy TV show and why? It will have to be good to rival either of the above or you could just agree with me

Friends and Frasier are good of course for all the reasons you give and shows can't run that long without being quality. But what about these offerings...The Office (American and British Versions), King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, Everybody Hates Chris, Scrubs, Dinnerladies,Ab Fab, Vicar of Dibley, The Good Life (going back a bit there), Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister, My family and one of my all time personal favourites for comedy, pathos and working class nostalgia The Royle Family any comments on any of these?

For non comedy there is only one choice at the moment TRUE BLOOD... best TV ever. So good in fact to discuss it join my True Blood club and tell me your views on the plots, characters and storylines. If you haven't seen it yet then you must, it is set to be a cult classic.
