Hey Coolcat,
If he is going out with a girl then there is not much you can do! Maybe you could speak to him though - build up the conversation with him. When you are walking to lessons, walk with him. This shows the other girl, that you are interested, but your not committing any crime so she can't exactly 'tell on you'. This could make her angry and maybe she will dump him and because you have been being this guys friend (walking with him) then he might ask you out!
If he likes you, then he will like being with you.
