The truth about horoscopes

Science teaches us to discriminate between patterns of cause and effect, and explain why certain effects happen.

Some people have beliefs about causes and effects that may appear to be there but infact are not.

One of these is the rather bizarre idea that the month in which you are born (under our arbitrary calendar system) impacts on your personality and can impact your life.

Now all scientific surveys have shown that the month or time of birth has no impact. However many people make money from horoscopes and so still tout this stuff as though it is scientific and not old fashioned superstition from the dark ages.

Why people still fall for that old nonsense I have no idea. I would prescribe a healthy dose of science to such people!
