Too many crows

Has anyone else noticed that there are millions of crows these days?

Everywhere you go there are lots of crows, and they land on the ground, are huge and can actually be quite intimidating in their behaviour to people particularly when they have young around.

What can be done to reduce their huge numbers? In the old days the farmers would shoot them and keep the numbers down... but that doesn't seem to happen any more. Surely it is time for a crow cull.

Yes there are millions of the following birds where I live:

Crows
Magpies
Wood pigeons

I think that as you say these used to get naturally controlled by farmers and people in general.

But now there is nothing to stop them taking over and surely it must be having a big effect on the smaller birds as they eat their eggs and even the young birds particularly the crows I have seen eating little baby blue tits which is really horrible to see!
