My friends are starting to do things I think are wrong, but I want to stay friends with them, what should I do?

When our friends start to do things that we disagree with it can be a very hard time for us.

There is a lot of temptation and peer pressure to join in even with what we know is wrong so we don't get left out.

One thing that bad kids are very good at is making others feel guilty and pressurised into doing bad things with them, however it is much more admirable to resist than to take part which is actually the easy thing to do.

You should disassociate yourself from the bad group first of all as one person in the group is much easier to resist than a whole set of friends.

Talk to your friend away from the group where they are probably better behaved away from the influence and explain you are worried about them.

Don't nag them or anything, just explain honestly you don't want them to get into trouble. This might be enough to make them think twice about what they are doing.
