Total body workout tips...

To exercise your whole body you need to make sure that you follow a particular format of exercise. It is surprisingly common for people to do a lot of exercise but completely miss out on exercise for certain parts of their body. This can lead to imbalance and therefore you should try to do an exercise program that is as balanced as you can make it.

Here is how to have a balanced exercise program.

You need to use something called BCLASS and here is how it works and what it stands for:

B is for BACK

You should do exercises for the back in your resistance training, for instance pull-downs

C is for CHEST

An obvious exercise to do for the chest is that old favourite of the gym teacher, the press up

L is for LEGS

Lots of possible leg exercise, for instance step-ups of course being a particular classic in this area

A is for ARMS

Again many exercises you can do here, a couple of options are the bicep curls using the weights or simply tricep dips using your own body weight

S is for STOMACH

Here there are loads again; the classic exercise such as the abdominal crunch exercise; also the option of tucking your knees up into your chest too.

S is for SHOULDERS

Again a range of exercises you can do here, for instance the power pump exercise

The bottom line is that you should always try to get a mix of exercises during your weekly plan that covers all of these elements for the best and most balanced results. It is always strange when one part of your body develops and the rest doesn't so ensure that does not happen to you but rather take steps to ensure that you are well balanced out and exercised all over.
