But if you become an expert buyer and seller, you can make a great living. Basically, you use your EXPERIENCE to make the most of what's on offer. If you spend an hour a day on eBay over a period of weeks you will become so experienced that you will learn the best techniques to get good prices, the best searches to perform to find that rare item you are after. You will develop an eye for bargains and can develop a good small business out of buying and selling. Just ensure that if things go wrong with a buyer or seller you feel confident in dealing with the situation yourself - eBay customer support is notoriously flimsy and they tend to be very unwilling to step in and help out if something goes wrong. If something really does go wrong make them earn their billions by persisting at them until they help you out.
