7f - Use The Nerves To Help You

Education : How To Excel In Exams Part II

Now, the night before the exam the adrenaline should really help you concentrate and commit things to memory.

Also, if there are things you know you find it difficult to remember, for instance an equation, or you tend to mix the order of certain processes up, then now is the time to commit them to memory, perhaps via mnemonics if possible.

This may sound obvious, but a surprising number of people give up on areas they can?t take control of and just revise what they already know - an easier option but not a fruitful one.

You may find the extra concentration powers you have the night before an exam will help you grasp material that you previously could not get the hang of. It?s worth a try.
