A Few Rules In Dumping Someone.

Relationships : Teenagers

1.NEVER EVER do it by text or get a friend to do it. It shows you have no confidence and can't do things for yourself. And will make them feel so awful.

2. If they have given you something like a bracelet ask if they want it back, dontjust give it to them otherwise it may make them feel even more upset.

3. Always have a good reason for it, not just oh i think your ugly or something cos thats gonna make them even more upset.

4. Always plan how your going to do it, cos stumbling over words isnt to good.

More soft lips advice

Dumping someone shouldt be as simple as... " you're dumped"

you really need to think about what you are going to say and explain to them why you are breaking up with them...

try to be as gentle as possible.

if you still want to be friends with them...tell them!

Be careful what you say to them for a while after you;ve broken up with them...when i broke up with my last boyfriend, a few days later i was talking about this fit guy with my best friend and he overheard and it really upset him
:'(

so remember-THINK ABOUT IT, STAY FRIENDS, BE CAREFFUL WHAT YOU SAY!

Being dumped is not the best of feelings and can leave some people really upset due to it, so breaking up with someone nicely is CRUCIAL. It can be quite humiliating being the one dumped and not the dumper, so do it in a way where they'll still feel respected.
NEVER EVER EVER tell someone the line of 'it's not you, it's me'. Yes, it's tempting! (And you'll feel like in the movies) but dont :)
Dont ever get a mate to do it for you, dont do it by text or phone call or even msn either, unless you have never met. (If so, then an email would be better than text - from personal experience!) Do it face to face. Calmly tell this person about how you felt at the start of your relationship and how you feel now. Possibly explain what went wrong, just be careful what to say! Keep eye contact and try to appear confident. Compliment this person. Not in a 'i like your hair' way, but more like 'you are a great person' or 'i enjoyed our time together' something along those lines. Keep it short and light-hearted. Good luck!
