How To Answer Awkward Questions From A Friend
| Relationships : Teenagers Sometimes a friend will ask you an awkward question, and it's a bit of a juggling act to tell them something that is honest without you jeopardising the friendship in the process! So given this, how should you proceed when asked an awkward question or when your friendship is not going that well? Let's take the classic example: does my arse look big in this dress from a friend - how do you handle that? Well the best way is just to lie and tell them that they look great even if they don't, because when someone asks that question, you already know the answer that they want to hear so rather than rock the boat just give them the answer that they want to receive. Also, it can be tempting when you've had a bad day to take it out on friends and to tell them what you really think - this is definitely to be avoided because it will just end up jeopardising the friendship so always try to avoid giving feedback when you are in a bad mood and if you get asked an awkward question when in a bad mood the safest thing to do can be simply to not answer it!
