Become An Author: Read Trade Books
| Hobbies : Writing That is, read books that authors have written about being authors. Many people take a reflective look at their trade, and it can be both eye opening and interesting. For instance if you want to be a journalist you could read Andrew Marr's book literally called 'My Trade'. For those interested in wirting books, try things such as Bestseller by Celia Brayfield. Remember too that its worth buying the relevant yearly publications in addition, for instance the likes of Writers Handbook, and whilst these are expensive you should find that your public library has copies of publications such as these.
