| Computing : Internet One of the best ways to block pop ups is to either use a browser that has a pop up blocker automatically, or to install a toolbar that has this option. If you want to go down the browser route, then use something like Firefox that by default will block pop ups for you. If you use another browser then install something like the Google toolbar that has the option to block pop ups for you. There is also the option with most toolbars to allow adverts through for one site, or one specific pop up.
