Bowling Tips

Sport : Cricket

If you are a fast bowler, then you will know that you need to be physically very fit to keep charging in and bowling fast.

Therefore you need to give yourself the best chance to take a wicket with every ball.

One useful tip is to see how wide of the crease you bowl - many bowlers develop a run up whereby they actually bowl a long way from the stumps.

Therefore one tip is to get in as close as possible to the stumps when you run up, to make it more likely that they will have to play the ball - and also increase the chance of lbw's.

In other words, get so close that your arm almost brushes the bails when you bowl the ball - sometimes you'll even see this happen in international cricket where the bowler brushes the bails with your non delivery hand!
