| Pets : Dogs The first step to being able to brush your pet dogs teeth safely is by getting them used to you opening their mouth, and looking inside. Train them to get used to this first before taking it any further! When they allow you to do so without grumbling or griping, then give the a reward. Next you will need to buy a special pet tooth cleaning kit - don't use human brush or paste. They will have a special paste and perhaps a different type of brush. Try to brush gently but girmley enough to be effective, and don't spend too long if possible.
