How To Build Trust With Grand Children

Miscellaneous

Like any relationship, you will need to build trust with grand children to ensure that you have a good, strong relationship.

They will inevitably associate visits with you as fun and something to look forward to, but some times you might have a deeper or more serious conversation.

If they tell you something then you should always keep their confidence even if you think it is something their parents should know about.

If it really concerns you try to get the child to tell it to their parents rather than yourself. If you do it yourself you will lose their trust and your relationship could be seriously damaged as a result - a real shame.
