Chemical Engineer

Jobs : Job Profiles

A chemical engineer is someone who creates valuable chemical products from raw materials.

As such you can work in a wide variety of industries, from food processing through to speciality bespoke chemicals.

You need of course a thorough chemical grounding, at least undergraduate degree but more and more phd or similar qualification.

You will need to be patient, logical, enjoy successive setbacks(!) and be very attentive to detail.

The field is due to grow and with less and less people studying science, there are good opportunities out there for the right people.
