How To Clean Your DVD Player

Cleaning : Useful Cleaning Tips

Firstly, take out any discs from your DVD player. If you dont, then these may get jammed. Unplug it from the mains aswell as your television set, and remove it from its stand or case.

Get a damp cloth and wipe it carefully over the top, front, and sides. Never do the back, and never use a wet cloth anywhere on it. If the back or underneath is dirty then use a DRY cloth, to wipe around the ports and screws.

Use a dry cloth to wipe over the areas where a damp one was used, wait 5-10mins, and then reconnect to the mains and your TV.

Play through your lens cleaning disc as this will remove any dirt inside. Do not playback this more than one at a time otherwise it will scratch your DVD lens.

Do this once every 3 or 4 months, and clean the lens if you have playback problems.

Never disassemble your DVD player as this will void the warranty and likely to damage your player.
