How To Complain Successfully

There comes a time when we all have to complain. We can apply our business skills to achieve success and get the result we want. Here's how:



- don't waste money on legal fees. Complain in writing as a first measure. Write 'complaint' at the top so they know what it is.



- Enclose copies of any relevant documents/information/train tickets etc. Keep to the point and write clearly what it is that you're not happy about.



- Send copies of your letter to other interested parties, and write cc wisth a list at the bottom of the letter. e.g. send it to the chief executive as well, it's amazing how quickly you might get a resolution to your query!



- Try sources of assistance like the Consumers Association if all else fails, or comsumer programmes on TV and local radio. Good luck!



Bottom line: persistence is the key. If it's easier for a company to respond to you as you desire, they will.
