How To Copy Text Into A Box On A Web Page

Computing : Internet

Open up Internet Explorer showing the page into which you want to copy text.

Open up the other application from which you wish to copy the text.

Highlight the text using left-click and drag. Then left-click the highlighted text and drag in onto the other document, dropping it into the box.

If both applications are full screen, you can drag the text to bottom of screen, on the taskbar. As the cursor moves from application to application, each will open above.

The same routine can be used to copy text from a web page to eg Wordpad.
