Imagine that you have just sold some beauty treatment product to a customer. Now most sales people would rest on their laurels and be happy with that. But if so you are mixing a trick. Offer in good positive language another product and state the benefit. "I'd like to offer you this very special lipstick that enhances even more the wonderful make-up; what do you think?" If you state how the other product is relevant to them and the benefit then you give yourself a good chance of getting the follow up sale.
