How To Curl Your Eyelashes

Here's how to use it effectively: First of all make sure your eyelashes are clean - you can apply other eye makeup before curling like eyeshadow and liner, but don't apply mascara until afterwards, or the curler could stick to your lashes and pull them out. How to use the eyelast curlerHold the curler open with one hand and carefully place your upper lashes onto the pad. The pad should reach to the base of your eyelashes but take care not to trap the skin of your eyelid when you close the curler. When you do close it, do it slowly and keep the eye open. Hold it carefully in place and count to 5. Make sure you breathe properly too, even if you are nervous! Then gently open the curler and remove your lashes from the mouth. You may want to repeat the procedure for a stronger effect than just one set of curling will have.Add volume to your eyesIf you like, you can follow it up with a few coats of a volume building or even curling mascara for a dramatic effect which will really open your eyes!
More eyelashes adviceTo get really curly lashes, heat your eyelash curlers with a hairdryer, then test they are cool enough by puttingg on your elbow. When cool enough, use and you will have really curly lashes! I have found that heating my eyelash curlers with my hairdryer first gives a much better curl.
