How To Develop High Jump Skills

Developing skills for high jump without actually doing the high jump itself might seem hard.

However, there are several exercises that are useful and develop your technique.

These include doing plenty of scissor kicks, and also you might find that hurdle training is useful.

Try doing some high hurdle training, as this will develop flat speed as per the run up whilst also ensuring that you get practice at lift and clearing jumps - the high hurdles.

You can also practice jumping a lower height in the gym, but from less steps. The key is to practice explosive jumping.
