Eating Out With The Family

Food And Drink : Great Food Tips

Eating out in a restaurant with your children can sometimes be stressful, so here's some tips to improve the situation.

Eat outdoor on warmer days as it will make it feel like you're on holiday and you'll be more relaxed and in a better mood. Some restaurants have covered terraces or a patio so try and grab a seat out there.

Find somewhere that allows you to build your own meal, for example like sushi, tapas or create your own pizza. It will help keep kids entertained and is good for fussy eaters.

Eat out at a park cafe which offers a full food menu. Some even serve wine for adults. Look at National Trust properties near to you. Its more of a casual environment so theres not too much pressure to behave perfectly. The children can run around the play area until their food is ready as well.

If you have teenagers, why not book two tables, and have one for the adults and another right next to it for the teens. You'll still be together but separate at the same time.
