How To Ensure An Email Address Is Correct
| Computing : Learning PHP There are two ways of getting people to enter correct email addresses in your form. The first is discussed elsewhere in the article on using ereg to validate an email from the technical perspective, to see if it at least looks to be in a valid format. The other is to incentivise the user providing the correct email address - for instance rather than let the user choose their own password, why not say that it will be emailed to them? That way they are more likely to fill in the email address correctly as otherwise they won't be able to access your site.
