How To Find The Right Bra For Summer

Beauty : Clothes And Fashion

Summer clothes are lighter in colour and material compared to the heavy jumpers of winter, but a big problem can be wearing sleeveless and backless tops without your bra straps or any other part of it showing. Some women may be able to go without a bra when wearing such clothes but for many it is necessary to find some subtle support!

The first option is a strapless bra, of course, which is bought with straps that you can remove completely or attach normally, as a halterneck or often crossing over your back. It is worthwhile investing in a good "multiway" bra as you can get a lot of wear out of it in the summer. The flexibility of it allows you to wear it discreetly with halter tops, little vest tops, and it is also good for wearing with sleeveless tops as you can attach the straps to cross over your back and this solves the problem of them slipping down.

However, it is better to take the bra with you when you try on such tops and dresses because you have to check the cut isn't such that the body of the bra can't be seen, for example if the vest tops dips low down your back making the bra visible.

When you are wearing close fitting tops you might want to wear a less patterned bra for a sleeker look. T-shirt bras are best for this purpose. You might also want to try a sports bra as these tops can cause you to become very hot and a sports bra is designed to stop you from sweating so much.

If you are wearing a backless top or dress, you might find the best way of giving your chest some support is to use cups which are attached just under your breasts with a special tape. These kits can be bought from good department stores or lingerie shops. They are very subtle and a good way round the problem of wearing backless clothes when you still need some support.

Many vest tops can now be bought with built-in support so that you do not need to worry about wearing a bra at all. Try these on before you buy them though as you may not like the way they feel or not feel satisfied with the support they offer.
