How To Fix A Leaky Car Sun Roof
| Hobbies : Cars And Motoring If you car has a leaky sun roof then you will need to take a few steps to try and work out the cause of it, and also repair it before it gets worse. Use a non abrasive cleaning fluid with a soft cloth to wipe the glass panel and the seal on the outside of the car. Open the vent shade followed by the sun roof itself. Dont let it slide back completely, just to the vent position. Clean the trough around the edge of the sun roof and using a wet cloth get rid of any debris in the seal. Check that the seal have no cracks, otherwise it will need to be replaced. The car manufacturer or a garage will be able to do this for you. Check the drainage tubes as well. You may want to use a coat hanger for this. Make sure it doesnt have a sharp end though and be careful when doing it. Pour a small amount of water into the drainage tubes to check any clogs have completely gone.
