| Hobbies : Freebies We all know how expensive most entertainment is, whether it is the theatre to see a musical or even just seeing a local show or even going to the cinema, everything seems to come at a cost. Well, not quite everything! You see, TV companies record so many TV shows that require an audience that they couldn't charge for entry else the studios would be empty. And yet it can be quite good fun to watch a TV show being recorded, especially when it is free... sometimes they are recorded in block segments. Therefore why not write to local TV stations and ask to be in an audience, they will usually be delighted and will send you out a list of dates when they are recording various shows and may add you to a mailing list. Then simply pick and choose those you are interested in and - apart from travelling to the venue - the freebie is right there!
