How To Get Back Links To Your Site

Computing : Search Engine Optimisation

Back links are simply links from other websites to your own.

Over the years they have been mentioned as a key way of increasing traffic and kudos of a website. This is no doubt true, and they are important.

However due to people abusing the need for links by creating massive link farms of poor quality links, back links are now not as important as they have been in the past.

That said, you should still try to maintain links to your site.

One way to do this is to author articles on a subject that you know a lot about. They needn't be too long - a few hundred words or a page or so of copy as displayed on the computer screen.

Then, submit them to article repositories - there are loads of these springing up all over the internet. The more you do the more back links and the more chance of people visiting your site.

The added spin off is that if you write well, people may be more likely to buy from you - they will be a warm lead!
