Self Development : Success There are do er's and those who talk about do-ing as a rule! A natural do-er is someone who can cope with pretty much any workload and still turn it round in a decent time. Here are a few habits you can get into to be someone like this. First, reply immediately to anything that is quick. Any task that takes around five minutes or less, try to turn it around straight away. For instance if you need to reply to a quick email, or if you need to do something like photocopy a paper of some sort, then do it straight away. Also be sure that you have an organised desk, for instance an intray and out-tray and remember to move items from one to the other as relevant. Finally, use memory aids like lists and even simple flow charts and spider diagrams to help you remember key points or key relationships within the company between areas or people that you need to get to know on a project and so forth.
