How To Have Good Batting Partnerships

The reason is that good calling can get a team around 20 - 30 more runs or even more over the course of an innings - often another 10% on the total. Therefore you should make sure that you practice batting with all team mates, and particularly other batters, to get used to each others style, type of calling and speed between the wickets. Some partnerships are known to call each other well and understand each other well, others aren't so good and get caught out quite often by being run out when there is an issue. Therefore develop simple rules and calls between you - who will call the ball in each instance, and what your calls mean. Always be loud and clear in your calls, and when you decide to run - run - don't be indecisive!
