Spray a small amount of vegetable oil, on your knife before cutting a pie with a soft filling. This will stop the filling from sticking to the knife.

Cookie jars should always have a loose fitting lid, to allow air to circulate around the cookies, if you want them to stay crisp.

If you would like a sharp edge on your cookies when using a cutter, try dipping the cutter in warm oil occasionally during the cutting.

Next time you cut a cake try cutting it from the center, so that you can move the pieces together keeping the edges moist.

If your cookie dough is cold it will not stick to the rolling pin. Chill the dough for no more than 20 minutes in the refrigerator for the best results.

Why purchase chocolate slivers, when you can make your own. Just take a potato peeler and shave a chocolate bar.

If your having a problem keeping your soft cookies soft, just add a teaspoon of any jelly to the batter.

Vanilla extract can be used to replace sugar. Use 5 drops to replace ¼ cup of granulated sugar.

When your cookies don’t brown enough, get them up higher in your oven.

Don’t forget, you can turn your cookie sheet upside down, and put batter on the bottom of your pan. You don’t always have to use it upright.

Lets makes a special pumpkin pie. Take and place small marshmallows all over the bottom of your pie. Now the marshmallows will rise to the top as the pie bakes. Awesome looking.

The reason a custard pie shrinks away from the crust, is that you have cooked it too long in an oven that was too hot.
