How To Listen To Children
Miscellaneous It can be hard to listen to children. We either have our own strong views already that we want to impose or just don't realise the significance of the child trying to talk to us and trying to tell us something. However, you should always try to make an extra effort to listen and pay attention to what children and grand children say - you never know how important it is. Some subjects will need to be handled sensitively and therefore it helps to decide a policy before hand. For instance if they have a pet gold fish then it is inevitably going to die and then trigger the topic of death. You may decide to tackle it hands on or gloss over - largely depending on the situation and the age of the child.
