Make Extra Money From Your Old Junk

Money : Saving

Sell your junk online using auction sites like ebay, ebid and amazon. All you need to put on is a clear photo and a description.

Try Gumtree as well as they offer free listings, but aren't always so good for cheaper or smaller items. For these, you could try a car boot sale.

Sell your DVDs, CDs and games online using Music Magpie.

Sell your childhood things, as particular collectibles and memorabilia may be worth quite a lot.

Recycle your mobile phone online using sites such as Envirofone, Mazuma, Mopay and Mobile2Cash. Use Cellzone or Omio to work out which can offer the best deal.

Sell your old books on Greenmetropolis.com., or swap them on readitswapit.co.uk and bookmooch.com.

Sell empty printer ink cartridges at Cashforcartridges.co.uk or at Boots.

Old MP3 players, Sat Navs and digital cameras can be sold on Simplydrop.co.uk or at Boots.

You can donate your old Marks and Spencers clothes to charity by taking them in to one of the shops and they'll give you a £5 voucher to use in store.
