Modelling Questions: TFP Or PFT Explained

Modelling

You may hear photographers offer you what's known as TFP or sometimes PFT pictures from time to time.

What this means is time for prints (or prints for time).

This means that they offer to shoot your pictures without you paying them or them paying you, and you get to receive some of the prints for free whilst of course they get more pictures in their portfolio.

If you do consider this then remember that it can be a useful way to get some great pictures for free, but do ensure that you trust the photographer completely, bring someone else to the shoot and ensure that they show you some good quality existing work first so that you know the prints will be of good quality. Finally ensure that you will be free to do what you want with the prints provided.
