| Career : Business Networking Credibility can be key with online networking. Because you don't meet people for real, or at least will probably not have done on the first contact, your reputation will proceed you. Therefore if you are seen as someone that regularly contributes to the individual site and has good feedback from others (on forums that allow this network of feedback to occur) then this will already stand you in good stead. Remember that to grow your network you can do so at any pace you want, and there is no 'right or wrong' pace. This is important to remember to - if you have a small network compared to another person this of itself is no indication as to your networking ability.
