How To Paint Cleanly And Avoid Getting Paint On Woodwork

DIY : Decorating

When it comes to painting in straight lines, you will know that sometimes this can be very hard to do, particularly when painting in awkward to reach places like corners and when needing to paint accurately, for instance on skirting boards or where one surface meets another.

Therefore you need some help, and one of the best and simplest ways is to simply put down a little masking tape at the margins of where you are painting. That way any stray strokes of paint are caught by the masking tape, rather than the wall or other surface.

These can then simply be removed once that area has been painted and simply binned, or else placed further along the area where you are painting.
