We can promise you that if you speak to recruitment managers at ten different companies, there will be a split as to their individual preference. Usually you will find that they prefer the number of pages that they actually wrote on their initial CV! Proof that old habits die hard. So it really doesn't matter - Mr. Bloggs at one company will say he prefers a one page CV, and Mr. Jones at another that he prefers two. But never go over two. And never go onto a second page if only one page is necessary.
